One of Those Days

Hello again everyone! I hope you all are having better days than myself. Today has been quite an adventure if I might say so.

You know those days when nothing seems to go right? Or when everyone seems to be dancing on the very last nerve in your body? Well today was one of those days for me.

I can honestly swear that it was plotted for people to tempt me today. Between customers taking their recipts to coworkers getting attitudes over petty little things that is none of their concern. I would say that its been quite the roller coaster ride.

At work:

A vast majority of our customers know to leave their recipts on the counter until their order is fill then it is either placed on their tray or in their bags. Well today I had one person that didn't seem to understand that. (Allow me to point out that I had told him not only once but twice to leave it on the counter so we know it still needs to be taken care of) As soon as I turned to help a coworker pick something up this gentleman picked up his recipt and proceeded to walk awayfrom the counter. Not aware that he did such, I had assumed that the manager, whom had been coordinating for the us, had already given out the order and placed the recipt in this gentlemans bag. The coordinator had even cleared it from the screen, being as he didn't see the recipt on the counter made the same assumption as I. As I went to fill the next order I wasn't aware that the sandwich I was placing on the next gentleman's tray was in fact the previous customers sandwich. Once it was all brought to my attention I apologized and gave the second gentleman the correct sandwich and asked the sandwich maker to please remake the mistaken sandwich. She preceeded to question what happened. As I explained to her (even though it really wasn't something that I should have had to do, she should have just done what had been asked of her) she decided that it was her place to scream at me in front of customers, and the best part was that she isn't even a manager. So once the manager heard her yelling it was no longer myself that was in trouble for the accidental mix up but in fact the one who was embarrassing the whole crew.

Then there's coworkers accusing others of "being really bossy for not being a manager", which really irritates me when people say that when its two people joking back & forth. Especially when the person saying it is very rude & tries to be contolling & make up inaccurate stories to try and get someone else in trouble. It's honestly like"Mind Your Own Business" if I'm joking around & having a conversation with someone don't try to butt in and tell me what to do. It's nothing to do with you and it's not even your place to do that anyway.

To sum up how I feel about the actual day:
